How to HIDE Ownership of Real Estate in an LLC or Company. One of the easiest ways to hide your name from public search on property records is to buy property in the name of your Limited Liability Company.  In most states a Limited Liability Company doesn't need to register within that State to own property as long as it isn't conducting business in that State.
